This is a terrific album; by far Oldfield's best work. The melodies of subsequent songs are seamlessly integrated into the prevalent musical "themes" of the work. The production quality of the album is the best imaginable (hard to compare with its contemporaries) without Alan Parsons;) All in all, this is a worthy tribute to Arthur C. Clarke's book.
