TRESPASS

"Looking For Someone" opens the album on a nice and soft intro and then it just starts getting better as the album goes on from there. It seems to switch off from being a quiet soft song to an awesome prog rock song throughout the tracks. Later in the song "Stagnation" is where I feel the band truly comes to making a group sound while Peter Gabriel sings one of my favorite vocal melodies. Dusk is a nice shorter song and serves as a good interlude between the longer songs. "The Knife" is where I feel the album really picks up again. I'd say my two favorite songs on this album are the two longer ones, "Stagnation" and "The Knife". While this album is really good, it is lacking some girth that their later albums started portraying. That is the main reason for a 4 star instead of a 5.
