WELCOME TO THE CANTEEN

I really wish they'd remaster and expand this one. Excellent and driven performances that straddle the Mason jazzy psychadlic pop years with the long winded Winwood years (one of my fave bands of all time....love the way they stretched things out without wearing noodly thin). It's a groovy aural snapshot of a tight and talented collecting. I believe the LP was a gift from the band to the fans....sort of an apology for the dead end that was Last Exit.

Man, if I were a carpenter.....I'd build me a big record company and rerelease all those LPs that they botched the first time around. I mean, this incarnation of the band deserve a live LP that runs less than 39 minutes.
