Amazing! Well, Robert Wyatt never dissapoint me, but this album (I think it's the 3rd of his
solo career) it's really a musical journey attacking all your senses starting with "Sea Song".
More than canterbury or r.i.o. or avant garde this album is an excellent example of what a
compromising musician and composer can do with his talent creating an album tottally
different and singular. Perhaps all the songs are really brilliant with an unique sound, the
most wonderous are "Little Red Riding Hood Hit the Road" and "Alifib". The line up it's
legendary: Wyatt, Richard Sinclair, Hugh Hopper and Laurie Allan, with collaborations of
Fred Frith and Mike Oldfield amongst others. It's really a wonderous album, evocative and full of little details that made this album a unique piece of collection, weird in his own style, but extraordinary. Highly recommended to know one of the most paradigmatic heroes of the canterbury golden age.
