TRESPASS

5/5 ***** This is a prog classic. You can feel that the band is like a pot that's just ready to boil over. The seed was planted, all the ingredients were present. You can trace all the classic Genesis themes and ideas back to this one album. Each song on TRESPASS would serve as the prototype for the different styles of music they would play for the next 10 years. Chief among them - STAGNATION. This is the quinticential GENESIS song. It has it everything. If you don't own this album, you can't really be called a true fan of Prog Rock.
