IN THE WAKE OF POSEIDON

King Crimson's second album is a very excellent one. I think it does not beat their first, but then I understand people who claim they think it does. "Pictures of a city" somewhat looks like "21st century schizoid man" in my opinion and I remember I used to find this very 'inspirationless'. I've got to say though that when I listened to it more often it became more and more different from "21st century schizoid man". Now I think it's a lovely track. Personally I think the best tracks are "Cat food" and "In the wake of poseidon", especially that last one. This album is incredible and no one should forget to check it out. I shouldn't forget to mention "The devil's triangle" which is also an excellent, though inaccessible, song that actually is among the other tracks I mentioned to be great. Great album, try!
