3 stars This album really showcases Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention's musicianship; in fact, that is the highlight of this album. The second half, starting with "Transylvania Boogie", is entirely instumental. This second half flows very well, partly because this is live, but I can hardly distinguish some song changes. The first half does resemble a high school play, with out knowing that, but that should not stop anyone from buying this album. This half is funny, but does not compare to the likes of "Billy the Mountain". This isn't like his other stuff because this was made up almost all on the spot. I like this because of all the random lines from the Mothers, contrasting with some narration by Zappa - and might I add, all with great music. When I looked at the track list for this, I thought "The Rejected Mexican Pope Leaves The Stage" would be more than an instrumental piece. My favorite track is "The Orange County Lumber Truck (Part 2)", which is also instrumental. Although most of this album is instrumental, this is Frank Zappa, he always comes through with his music. I wouldn't recommend this as one to buy unless you've tried some of his better stuff first. By all means, don't underestimate this album...
