3 stars This is an excellent example of an album where the members of the group are not taking themselves seriously as pop stars. Their lyrics are sometimes sarcastic but always gentle, humorous, witty and the music is supporting their funny, but still sentimental stories to unfold. I would call the music here "soft art rock". Nice vocals, good melodies, plenty of instruments, great musicianship with some deep moments and memorable parts. Highlights here include the catchy, energetic "Good morning judge", the nostalgic "The things we do for love", the clever "Honeymoon with B troop", the swing-styled play-with-words "I bought a flat guitar tutor" and the brilliant multi-layered progressive finale "Feel the benefit". A pleasant album that leaves you with a nice feeling. Oh, and of course... a beautiful album cover! 3,5 stars...
