4 stars It's not a nice thing to say, but when Senmuth doesn't sing or at least limits the use of his voice distortion kit the result is often very good. While on the previous album "Internal Images" aka Eternal Images (a matter of translation from Russian) the music was highly evocative and quite close to the new age, here we have some metal, too, mixed with ethnic flavours, from India and far East this time.

On this album there's more attention to melodies than usual, so the listener can be captured since the first track and there are more possibilities to remember a song after just the first listen.

There's also more room for tha guitar than as usual in Senmuth, and being him a guitarist first, it's surely a good thing.

What is very good in this albus is the equilibrium between ambient/ethnic and industrial metal that he has been able to find and is almost always missing from his previous works.

I mean that who is keen "Cognitive Discord" or "Probhuzdaya Sluchaynost" may be bored by "Rajas" or "Internal Images" and vice-versa. This album is good enough from both the points of view.

Another difference is that the music here is less dark than usual in the sounds and in the chords used.

When reviewing Senmuth I'm used to go track by track, but in this case I want to let the listener discover what's inside. It can be a pleasant surprise.
