4 stars A black cat standing heroically in front of a night-scape of the Pyramids, not really my thing, but I don't do drugs. No seriously. This is one of Ozric's most over rated albums. The incessant trance and the booming bass (or synthesizer really) make for the most groovy prog album that I've ever heard. Don't let the silly and nonsensical image that Ozrics has keep you from hearing an incredible album. Never mind the album cover and get into the music.

This is one of those albums that you should pack your bowl for, and get a pair of blindfolds, because the music is so atmospheric and spacey that your visions will remind you of a journey through "yesland". No seriously. The trance inducing electronics remind me of Brian Eno, while the high energy parts remind me of a more coherent and slightly less technical Mahavishnu Orchestra Forgive me for comparing Ozric to Mahavishnu because they are very different, but Ozrics are obviously influence by Mahavishnu.

There are a couple of songs that could have been omitted, but for the most part every song flows together very well, especially for an Ozrics album
