ÉQUINOXE

The follow-up of the surprisingly successful Oxygene album. Perhaps predictably, Jarre changed little in the winning formula. As such, this album is less important than Oxygene and scores one star lower for me. The saving track is Equinoxe 2, one of the best instrumental tracks I know. Jarre effectively evokes the atmosphere of a summer evening on the beach, including sea gulls circling in the sky, at least for me.
