Oh Dear! After the majestic run of the previous three albums this was an absolute slap in the face. As a huge fan of strange engine i was looking forward to this album so much. It opens with a bizarre ditty and its pretty much downhill all the way. Only the answering machine and these chains rise above the tuneless mess this album creates. Almost completely devoid of memorable moments it lurches from one flat, bland dirge to the next. Finding it incredibly hard work listening to this album as i'm typing.

I have to give this the minimum 1 star. An absolute low point for the band.
