BOOK OF THE DEAD

I've heard it about 4 times now and I'm struggling to find reasons why it should be regarded as an excellent addition to any prog collection let alone a masterpeice.What is clear to me is that there is a desperate lack of any new ideas.The keyboard sounds are very dull,virtually no hammond ,while the songs are just average.The gravelly voice is nice though and Holdsworth is a class act.There are shades of Crimson and UK but this band does not come close to the glories of those bands.Sorry, but this is a 3 star at best for me.
