This album is consistent and has many good songs, yet it's a bit monotonous and few strike me as "classics". "High And Dry", "Fake Plastic Trees", "The Bends", and a few others are good songs with catchy melodies but they aren't "perfect". Some of this are rockers, others are "sad songs" (but not "ballads"). It's also very consistent. Think about an "OK Computer" but without all those textures and with grunge-styled guitars. Remove a star if you don't like this kind of music.
