3 stars This mini-album was an interesting experiment: it was recorded 1971 as soundtrack for a TV show, probably never meant to be issued on LP, based on the "revolutionary" epic poems on WWII Yugoslav partisans by a poet B. Copic. Dado Topic was still a lead vocal in the band and for this occasion they included a guest Josipa Lisac, the best ex-YU female rock vocal of the period. The two long jam session tracks made a perfect rehearsal before recording their debut studio album the following year. Of course, the sound here is far from perfect and it was presumably recorded "live" in studio without much editing. Music is close to progressive hard rock, with lots of organs and guitar solos, while the lyrics are often out of place and not able to follow the melodic lines. This is totally non-commercial effort and upon its final release in 1979, it was largely unnoticed. Worth checking-out because of its "rarity" nature and of two great vocals: Topic and Lisac.
