5 stars To begin with, in my personal view this is afive star masterpiece. I absolutely loved it. However, the CD may not be to the taste of many prog heads. Thats why this CD was very difficult to rate, as to many, it may not be an essential, masterpiece of progressive music. However, I decided that in my view it was five stars, and accordingly, I give it five stars based upon my personal love of the CD. The CD runs the gamut of progressive rock, with very heavy Celtic influences, as well as other folk and even new age influences. I personally love progressive music with a Celtic tinge (which may be why two of my favorite current bands are MOSTLY AUTUMN and the late, great KARNATAKA). DAVE BAINBRIDGE is an incredible musician and multi-instrumentalist. He is also one mighty fine guitarist. The Celtic influence is very deep on the CD, and some of it sounds like it could have come off an IONA CD, which BAINBRIDGE is a member. The varied female vocals of JOANNE HOGG, RACHEL JONES (my personal favorite current female vocalist) and MAE MCKENNA (who was unknown to me prior to this CD, but I certainly want to hear more by her) perfectly fit BAINBRIDGE'S music. I love this album, and while it may not be to every prog head's tastes, I found it to be a masterpiece. Highly recommended, and if you like your prog mixed with a little Celtic, an essential work.
