Foxy
4 stars It is the last Heldon's studio album and one of their strongest and dense recordings. The album consists of three compositions. The first one Stand By is very energetic with aggressive guitar and excellent bass work. It is a long 14 min piece. The next one Une Drôle de Journée is an electronic interlude, very nice and almost gentle. The longest composition Bolero begins with traditional Spanish rhythm and then evolves in a real masterpiece with beautiful guitar work, clever use of electronic and astounding rhythm section.

The guitar solos on this album are excellent. Richard Pinhas is in his best. You can imagine Fripp-like technique on the hypnotising electronic background and rhythm section. The music is very original and Fripp's influence is only in technique rather than in anything else. It is if Fripp would play with Can. This album is a absolute must for those who love really inventive and adventurous music.
