5 stars In 2024 David Gilmour presents more of that Guitar magic. Did I really expect anything less? Intoxicating melodious compositions with soaring guitar solos, beautiful introspection and optimism in the lyrics. Polly Samson, his wife, contributing the poetry and now his daughter Romany joins in on backing vocals, violin and harp. Romany Gilmour even steps up to the forefront for second single Between Two Points, the unlikely cover song of the record. She of Yes, I Have Ghosts a song firstly stand-alone for one of those Record Store Day shills; now it's a bonus track on the expanded editions of this record.

So yes his formula may not have changed all that much but considering I thought for sure Rattle That Lock was the last studio LP and was happy with that as I loved that record, it's icing on the music cake to have that album matched, even topped. I absolutely adore every single note on this record. 5.0 David Gilmour's voice and talent are still shining brightly!
