3 stars TSO's 'The Ghosts of Christmas Eve' is a short but sweet, cheesy by uplifting, 45-minute Christmas movie, which basically plays out like a bunch of music videos thinly strung together by a narrative of a girl who's run away from home and ended up in an abandoned theatre over Christmas. Oh, guess who just happens to be performing in said theatre?

For what it's worth however, this is harmless stuff. If you like the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, then there's no reason not to enjoy this. The music is at times epic, powerful and emotional, and the visuals, though dated, are still quite pleasant to watch. It's all done in the name of Christmas spirit, so just enjoy it, and consider it a change of pace from watching Home Alone every year (which you'll still have plenty of time left to do that anyway).
