4 stars Steven has come of age and can now realize anything in his head. This project is a homage to progressive rock. It is an ensemble of incredible musicians who are directed by Wilson as he is the conductor. I saw this tour back in 2014 and he came out on stage and made movements like he was Herbert Van Karajan. Going solo has really benefited this artist as he has complete control of the musical direction. Luminol, the first track, is very aggressive and like a King Crimson motif. Drive Home goes into a slower mode. The Holy Drinker is a lecture piece. The Pin Drop is fabulous. The Watchmaker reminds me of Rush. The set leaves off with the Raven Who Refused to Sing, which is melancholy madness taken to a high level. The man believes his sister visits him and he can't escape the singing bird. This is very sentimental material. I would give this album 4.5 stars. 5 stars for effort and 4 stars for realization.
