STAINED GLASS STORIES

This is a very good album and the band was no doubt talented but they are just copying what had already been done before so I can't say it is very original. To say they weren't familiar with Foxtrot and Nursery Crime would be a lie. In fact I love those Genesis albums but get tired of them and for something very similar but not quite I just put this album on. It's quite solid!! Typical symphonic prog in the Genesis tradition. The Italian bands were doing the exact same thing and we laud them so I can't be too harsh. This album is quite nice with good intricate playing and dramatic melodies and vocals it just can't rise above "Good but non essential"
