4 stars Listening to the album first and then reading other user's reviews, I'm surprised of how similar our impressions regarding the band's influences are! Bull Angus indeed sound like a cross between Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Atomic Rooster. I would definitely add Jethro Tull though, as you can't have rock flute without mentioning them as an influence. The frenzy "Miss Casey" is my favorite song, while "Cry" sound to me as the most prog. Halfway through the album I couldn't find many prog elements, but from "Miss Casey" and on it's evident that the Heavy Prog category is indeed correct. The album contains some quality music, that fans of Hard Rock (prog or not) will find amusing! I was divided between 3 or 4 stars, but since this is a debut and there is no weak song, I will go with 4. Give it a chance!
