4 stars This album gets worse with every listen, yesterday i gave it 5 stars and now i feel like i might give it 3 later. Your first/second listen might be the peak of enjoyment but with every next listen this album gets progressively less interesting. Tbh this problem persists in many of this style's bands. On your first listen it surprises and amazes you but later it becomes boring and you dont want to re-listen most of the songs.

1. Proteo Revampirizado - as an intro song it starts great, a true avant-prog sound, obviously reminds of King Crimson or maybe Änglagård.

2. Zidane Racist - (i googled and i have no idea but zidane is a football player/coach probably?) this song is its album's peak. It has it all, but mostly odd time signatures feels great here. Pure prog and a very pleasant listen even after many times

3. Zeuhlito Lindo - with this song starts the problems. This song is just more of the same and it is album's biggest flaw - its too repetitive. You've heard it all in two of the previous songs, it doesnt change like music fonts or something, it just sounds very similar and this problem will follow the album till the end.

4. Oniontown - probably my 2nd favorite however this song highlights my second problem with this album - guitar playing. I understand that this decision was probably made to sound more oldish 70s prog but in my opinion, and im saying this as a huge guitar geek fan who loves guitar solos over guitar solos on guitar solos in every song, the guitar just sucks on the album. It feels like it was stuck in the 70s in a bad way. I mean it was cool in 70s but guitar has progressed, you can continue sounding oldish while implementing new techniques i believe. Recently i was listening to the whole Polyphia discography and you can clearly see the contrast. Im not Polyphia's fan like at all but im just saying that the guitar playing on this album is too average, too mediocre, too outdated and uninteresting. Solo on Oniontown is fine and as i said i like the song but at the same time guitar playing is so meh.

5. Aclowntrenós - nothing to add really, its all of the same

6. My First Metal Swing Set - cool and short, guitar centric song but as i said guitar sucks on the album. Mid song, more of the same

7. D.A.S - the shortest on the album but also one of the best. Nothing to add, its still very similar to all previous songs but in this case a bit cooler

8. Don't Open Til Xmas - a fun new year/xmas song, you probably shouldn't open in till xmas.

9. Exit Filming for a Muse - this song sound a bit different but really just a bit. This one on the slower side and i like it. A nice ending song

Conclusion: despite all my critics this album is definitely worth a listen and you will find some if not all of the songs appealing if you are a true prog fan, tho its nothing special and kinda repetitive which to be honest is not fair to say about such a cool avant-prog album
