TIME AND TIDE

Though this album carries some catchy tunes, it doesn't contain the pleasant feeling I experienced in the earlier albums of these talented musicians. The songs seem quite scattered and lack interesting qualities. Album covers have beautiful details, and Mr. Woodroffe has collaborated with Dave on epic "Pentateuch Cosmology" album and sci-fi / fantasy art book, a real treasure. All the good potential caused some expectations, which were not met for me. Somehow the music lacks similar sensations of flow, and criteria of symphonic rock instrumentation decisions, which have to match the tastes. I try to be open but somehow never managed to warm up for this.
