5 stars After many long hours of listening to various Zappa album in my musical collection, as well as taking a gander at a few of the "deeper" avant-garde albums, this was a masterpiece the first time I listened to it. No doubt this is not for those who don't appreciate the wackier sounds of Frank Zappa such as ABSOLUTELY FREE, WE'RE ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY, and some of JOE'S GARAGE, but for those of you (I know you're out their), who feel that ABSOLUTELY was a masterpiece, I welcome you to the world of Frank Zappa maniacs. JOIN THE CLUB!. After the sheer beauty of symphonic prog gods, some people would take this as nonsense, garbage, but if that doesn't apply to you, and you can find the funk in Zappa's extraterrestrial compositions, you will love this. Try to keep in mind that Zappa wanted you to hear every note that you're hearing, at the exact moment you did, and that he spent long nights making everything perfect. The emotions and thoughts these passages provoke are completely intentional, which is why this is simply a masterpiece of progressive rock music.
