5 stars Stop!! Well, this is a masterpiece! This great album represents what modern metal music SHOULD sound . If you keep up with the times, then you could say that this album is just that, a very modern metal journey that deserves the listener's very high attention. I'm not going to cover the song by song here, which I should, but only technical and the emotional value of the album, which hardly anyone does in reviews. I haven't followed this band that much lately, considering that they only have two albums and one single out. It is very likely that they composed and arranged the album over a longer period of time, very likely as TOOL did... It could be said that the album was designed to be and to remain a masterpiece. Standard modern progressive metal does not goes in this direction like EARTHSIDE is going. There are very few bands that express themselves artistically with such excellent production and post production. I can mention several bands that are similar in conceptual musical sense. Tesseract, Haken, Deftones, Devin Townsend, Animals As Leaders, Sleep Token. The album Let The Truth Speak itself is a very emotional album, both with playing and singing. Singers from the band and guest singers are giving homework to almost everyone who would like to have this kind of compositions in their hands. From pure R'N'B, Theatrical vocals and Emo-Djent, standard metal and spoken word also can be heard. The dynamics of the album itself is almost perfect and leads the listener to a darker emotional side with bright endings.I just love those kind of albums that have to be listened many times in order to understand what the poet wants to say. There are those little musical diversions on the album where funk-metal and movie theatrical transitions can be heard. All of this leads the band to further expertise that music is not just riffology, instead , music is much, much complex and simple in the same time. I will stop here with the review in order not to exaggerate and to leave the listener to think about how the goal of a high musical standards can be achieved today. I can recommend this album to all music researchers who would like to hear something conceptually new, with a high standard and unpretentious. 5/5 without a doubt.
