5 stars While Thick As A Brick was originally meant as a joke and as a parody of Prog Rock, it actually became a staple and one of the most beloved albums of the genre. The single track album is one of the most well constructed albums I've ever heard. While it's humor can be difficult to understand, I always found this album to be very funny.

Part 1 is amazing. There's really not much else to say. Ian's flute is magical and the extensive use of keyboards is very well welcomed from Tull. Almost perfect track, but again this is only half of it. (23/23)

Part 2 starts of pretty weak imo. The drum solos and the constant pause and reprise makes it pretty hard to follow. I'd say the first 5 minutes of part 2 is the weakest part of the album. However, the end is much better, on par with part 1. (17/21)

FINAL SCORE: 40/44 = 91. Easy 5 stars. A great joke and a great album
