SLEEP DIRT

An excelent example of how Zappa could elaborate a complex jazzy-powerful-orchestral- movie-soundtrack-like album with tons of complex guitar, keyboards and percussion work. There are some "operatic" vocals and very nice rhythm variations that only Zappa knows how to do (see The Grand Wazoo, Ovenite Sensation, One Size Fits All and many others from 70's). The arrangements are just big stuff, remembering sometimes a big-band, just like in The Grand Wazoo. The acoustic guitar work in Sleep Dirt is memorable. Arf ! This is a very good album, try it!
