LAST

Agitation Free's aptly named live album "Last" is a colossal and epic journey, which aides in some heavy mind-exploration. Agitation Free's previous two albums were solid additions to the eclectic Kraut Rock pantheon, however with "Last" it appears they have finally let go, and just melt into a cosmic world of free-flowing jams. There's three songs, and not nearly as much Eastern-influence instrumentation as in their previous material, but the end result is a well balanced, and easily listenable live album, which fortunately lacks the typical crappy live album production value. For some reason, the core of the album vaguely reminds me of Ash Ra Tempel's "Amboss." All in all, a fantastic album, and my favorite out of the Agitation Free discography.
