THROUGH THE EYES OF THE BURDENED

For quite a whle I have been looking for a band that captures and produces similar atmospheres and emotions as the early Opeth, and with Descend I am glad to say I finally found it! I am not saying that they are copycats, they retain a lot of originality, of course. It is the feeling, the darkness and these "walking into an eerie forest " sensation which they recreate so well. The band combines acoustic and death metal sections that flow extremely well, the album is easy to digest and leaves you wanting for more. I am now listening to their second album and it is great too. If I am not wrong, they have three, although the last is not listed in this site. I wonder how this band does not has more ratings and reviews here, I would recommend it to all fans of melodic death metal and Opeth especially. Four stars. Great job!
