5 stars 1. Entering the Halls of Winter starts at DCD yes at the start; metronomic tune with an atmosphere of pious latency; piano, acoustic guitar, trumpets, real or sampled, an enjoyable 4-minute climb before setting off on RPI symphonic rock with the grandiloquence that suits it; keyboard break like Hang then clarinet and choirs, the piano returns to play its notes; research which brings me back to the exceptional work of Andreas VOLLENWEIDER with his magic harp; here it's a country clarinet for traveling on the Monts d'Arrée 2. Red Sky continues with a variation of Edmondo's clarinet, neo-classical, medieval, enchanting; Italian voice phrased for a consensual RPI latency moment 3. White Earth follows, waves, arpeggio and variation of the theme to wander a little further into this magical musical world; 4. Snowstorm breaks the torpor in which Fabio and Alessandro left us; trumpet keyboards, an inventive folk sound which reminds me a little of MINIMUM VITAL on a more jazzy register; Roberto goes with his keyboards followed shortly after by Matteo's twirling guitar 5. Over the Plain with Edmondo who jams surrounded by fruity, crystalline keyboards, helped by Maurizio's percussion; everyone plays their instrument to a sympho-jazzy-rock transalpine tune

6. The Crystal Light continues with a gripping spleen melody, moving clarinet bringing tears; solemn orchestral rise before a dark break, percussion again and uncertified phrasing, a text which cuts the grandiloquent and symphonic air on the keyboards for a dreamlike finale which always has a great effect on me

7. Outside for the interlude with a swirl of notes contained by Maurizio's jerky and devilishly effective drums, the flowery finale GENESIS 8. Ruins cuts radically with a Japanese sound in the distance, a few drops of water then an obvious spleen Frippian guitar; the wind arrives and amplifies the coldness of musical beauty 9. Through Winter's Air with a harmonica or a diatonic accordion takes us by the hand and leads us to a 'delicatessen' or a 'Fabuleux destin d'Amélie', leading us astray on Parisian lands before launching 10. 4-piece Rainsuite; an intimate reverie followed by an Olympian escapade, a tune to make you cry with joy, a slow tempo to wander over arid spleen lands; and then 7'30 the air becomes throbbing, pompous, RPIesque with Matteo who rewards us with a Steve HACKETT-style solo... We listen religiously while the piano pours out, calms; final trumpets make the air even more martial, solemn; the guitar takes off for a moment on the flights of Mike OLDFIELD before an acoustic Hackettian return; Magnificent.
