If you could only send one record back in time to blow people's minds, this would be the one.The songs are a powerful mix of jazz, punk, and raw energy. Although not every song is at the same level, almost half the cd is a new kind of good you've been wanting to hear but unable to explain. The rest is still strong, and even the "worse" song wouldn't be half bad at all if it was the only one you hear. Their next album expanded on the psychadelic lapses in music between songs. This album cemented their take on what rock music could be.
