GALIÉ

GALIE are a seven piece band out of Mexico and this is their self titled debut from 1981. It's quite impressive that this band has released a studio album in five straight decades including their latest from 2020. This record is an all instrumental affair, very pastoral and pretty and I believe all acoustic. We get several multi-instrumentalists involved and so along with two acoustic guitar players we get two more band members adding acoustic guitar on a few tracks. The lead instruments though tend to be the flute and piano and for me to go track by track would be me repeating myself a lot. Under 36 minutes and seven tracks that are on the light side of Symphonic music. 3 stars is all I got.
