4 stars I must say ,i was not keen on what poeple are used to call NEOPROG ,i mean in france because most of the time it points out that kind of boring bands, playing caricatural music with half an idea to full a whole album with a lot of breaks and uninspired music but PENDRAGON what a good band this is ! After two listenings i was charmed! the guitar and keyboards parts are outstanding and the music is realy colourfull, powerfull, great.CLIVE NOLAND seems to be a very interresting musician ( that led me to discover ARENA ) he plays with virtuosity ,he's technically brillant but his playing doe'snt lack of emotion he's realy exciting. What about NICK BARRETT ? amazing guitar player, never boring but fascinating, the perpetual dialogue between guitar and keyboard is a real firework! The only weakest point could be the vocals ,not that bad but not at the top.but it's a detail comparing to such a good music.I drove a week through the netherland, listening to that album twice a day and i'm not tired of it yet.good stuff great album, wounderful music, give me some more !
