KEITH EMERSON BAND FEATURING MARC BONILLA

i do realy think this is the best emerson release since black moon ,or least brain salad. there is all i need ,hammond ,piano,churchy organ,good melodies and BONILLA voice that remind me of GREG LAKE there's even the funny piece that recalls ARE YOU READY EDDY from TARKUS .This is really good stuff,the first time EMERSON succeeds with a solo work.i don't know why it took such a long time but it's a nice mixe between pop writing and more prog stuff,so did ELP at their peak; i mean TARKUS and TRILOGY.The second track is quite impressive with a lot of bombast before BONILLA voice entry and it's a good sign of what's coming after,with occasional return of great organs and a few moog touches .Of course i'am not as impressed as i was when i am 14 and listened for the time to TARKUS but track like PRELUDE TO HOPE is realy superb for opening to A PLACE TO HIDE .Try a few listenings you might bee surprised!! I give 4 STARS .
