3 stars The hidden chronicle of this avant-garde album, revisited in 2023 to bring your emotions back to life.

1. How Long ... yes the intro with a nervous riff, with a synth by Peter where are we going we don't do anything! an enchanting air, a guitar, Ian's touch, good Steve's already metallic drums and that's how we come to listen to a new sound 2. Humble Stance followed the nonchalant air on an alert rhythmic where the part of the keyboards was important; the guitar not waiting for its solo moment to show itself; yes the strength of SAGA was above all Ian and these progressive compositions from another age, between prog and progression, between rock FM and progressive latency; like a bit of incisive guitar all of a sudden and the synth that responds for notes that flow by themselves; final aerial keyboard that makes you melt, yes you who didn't know and the spleen guitar that I will find later with Steve from MARILLION, the why and how I loved it from the first listen 3. Climbing the Ladder and the prog-nervous-rhythmic-heady title, the title that gives joy to the keyboard too often set back, yes SAGA was also a keyboard that showed its teeth and flirted with it the progressive sounds, in short 4. Will It Be You? (Chapter Four) for the 1st chapter (16 I recall) which gave rise to discussion; but why the 4 there? and why 2 on this album? Anyway, the intro is gone, it's smart will it be you? For the recalcitrant tell me what is not prog in it huh!!!! there yes the riff which kills, the synths with FLASH what is it huh!! In short, one of the two bluffing, slapstick and staggering-sidereal titles.. OMNI I'm telling you without talking about the cover, well I'm not dragging you on this half hybrid being... no go find yourselves! 5. Perfectionist and the second side with guitar arpeggio and synth again, and fortunately; a classy, symphonic intro where the electronic drums were already talking.. but what is that!!! In short, a high track, jumping like a kangaroo and with an awesome nervous synth riff; shh these crystalline piano notes remember heralding the rise...and the crescendical finale, progressive as you wish 6. Give 'em the Money intro to no spade, thumping, soft, borderline funky latent; it's going up we're waiting for the explosion of the chorus that's it, now the hard riff supported by the soft, fluffy keyboard, nothing but happiness; ah this basic solo that is long overdue and the bass and the guitar that squirts, wait but that's great prog!!! demonic, pleasurable, a hidden must...give me some money! premonitory title of the many future financial problems? 7. Ice Nice and the 1st of 2 great titles; what can I say, I listen... as if it were the first time; a smooth rise with soft voice and this vibrating space sound before the solo synth, sublime what! good I come back after this solo, the class my legs are still shaking; how could some snub this group? 8. Tired World (Chapter Six) 4 then 6 makes sense right? THE TITLE another one that announces from the musical score that it will progress! latent, wait-and-see, hard soft or metallic riff, I don't know but the back synth base fills the atmosphere, leaves no time; the title that unrolls like a rolled-up carpet that no longer wants to stay flat, that moves, that begins to close again, the title that melts like fruit jelly, like a marshmallow, like a Marshmallow coming out of the barbecue, and this finale that doesn't never ends, sublime I say.

SAGA has created a sound, unique with the strafing guitar, with fat, heavy, majestic, latent synths, inaugurating an avant-garde sound that few have been able to copy; SAGA is here. (5 for the rating of course).
