When I attended one of my first Yes concerts as a kid, I was entertained by a couple hippies in the front row. As Jon Anderson sang a classic Yes piece, they stood to face him, undulating their bodies and seemed to be using their arms to capture the spiritual energy flowing from him. It was quite a sight, and I thought it quite silly.

Ages later, I still think it was pretty silly--but now I see where those hippies were coming from. It's all encapsulated in Change We Must. Here, Jon so fully amplifies the uplifting tenor of his music, that it's impossible to listen without feeling spiritually rejuvenated.

Drawing from a wide selection of previous works (along with a few new ones), Anderson reboots each piece with a level of orchestration and composition is at once breathtaking and serene. A highlight is his rendition of Shaker Loops by American composer John Adams. Regardless, you can't go wrong with any piece presented here. Well worth a five-star rating.
