5 stars Review #25!

Jethro Tull's beautiful, folky masterpiece, 'Thick as a Brick'. Ian Anderson deemed this album on release as what he believed would be "the mother of all concept albums". Amongst other concept albums, this album has not held up as well as Ian thought, but this truly beautiful record is still rightfully recognized for all that it is. From the acoustic opening to the wonderful conclusion, this album will keep you hooked until the very end. I bought this for sixteen dollars on vinyl on its 51st Anniversary and listened to it, and it changed my life. I read through every little article in the newspaper, every phone number, which pet store to go to if I wanted a bird, and even the incorrect Brain Boggler at the bottom of the page. I still regularly listen to this album. Prog on, Ian.
