3 stars Hellfire is the natural continuation of the cavalcade aesthetic, and which seeks, according to the band, to reconcile high-fidelity jazz recordings that were made in a single room (eg Keith Jarrett), with the chaos of Frank Zappa. We could also add the repetitive madness of punk, certain touches of bossa nova or more acoustic jazz, the stridency of King Crimson and the interesting interpretation of the vocalist (we listen to rap songs at times more spoken than sung) to understand your style.

With this eclectic accumulation of influences, the band has carried out a work based on calm and chaos - and the passage from one to the other, sometimes without modulations- so that the listener remains in continuous tension, adding varied arrangements and harmonies to enrich the experience.

I do not deny, like many of its staunchest defenders, that this is an 'original' work or, to a certain extent, 'avant-garde', I only believe that these qualities -which are not always a merit- should not be enough for a work has unanimous approval. Elements like the general rhythm of the album, or how some songs interact with each other should be taken into account. In Hellfire we find -especially in the first half of the album- songs that are intended as singles (with their respective video clip, of course) and more risky and challenging compositions such as 'The Race Is About to Begin', which show a band that impregnates a special aura to each song, and that can result in a diverse work or, in another case -what I think- in an irregular disk.
