4 stars Another album in the 'Berlin Trilogy' this is Bowie at his most arty, which of course i love,

This is the second Bowie release ive heard and the first one to get me into him, i just love the concept that centers round these tracks they all blend nicely into each other without any really feeling out of place and make the album stand out just that bit more, although not as strong as the fantastic Station to Station that came a year before, its still a great Bowie album and the most consistant set of Bowie songs, standout tracks include SPEED OF LIGHT, SOUND AND VISION, ALWAYS CRASHING IN THE SAME CAR, and the Bowie/ Brain Eno penned WARSZAWA, no real need to mention any production notes only that it is as fantastic as any David Bowie album can get, and as is the musicmanship;

Speed of Life - 9/10 Breaking Glass - 8/10 What in the World - 8/10 Sound and Vision - 9/10 Always Crashing in the Same Car - 10/10 Be My Wife - 8/10 A New Career in a New Town - 8/10 Warszawa (Bowie, Brian Eno) - 10/10 Art Decade - 9/10 Weeping Wall - 9/10 Subterraneans - 7/10

My Conclusion? a great effort by Mr.Bowie and a fine art - rock album.
