3 stars Taken from a live radio broadcast from " My Father's Place" in New York City in the summer of 1979 this excellent live recording features tracks from Bruford's two previous studio albums, One Of A Kind and Feels Good To Me. A mysterious but capable guitar player who sounds suspiciously like Alan Holdsworth replaces him on guitar but this takes nothing away from awesome performances of tracks like Beezlebub, 5G, Sample and Hold and Sahara of Snow PTS. I & II. While not a perfect live recording from a technical viewpoint ( hey c'mon it was a freaking radio broadcast what do you expect? ) an enthusiastic audience and Bruford's brief interaction with them combine to make this event flow with electricity. If you are into Bruford's late 70's work you have to own this gem. My only little disappointment was the omission of the Lewis Carrol quote on Fainting In Coils, nevertheless this one deserves to be played LOUD!!
