4 stars Jeff Beck can play some good fusion type guitar, and this record is an appropriate example of it. "Blow by Blow" has some killer sounds on it. "You Know what I mean" is a great way to start the set off. It is funky and has some hints of fusion in it. Jeff gets right to the business of jamming and gets good results.

My favorite tune is "Scatterbrain." It gets the listener worked up and it has some beautifully moody parts to it, along with the fast playing. I think it is the best on the recording.

Jeff gets a lot of good tones to come out of his axe. You may even want to play some of the slower stuff for your love interest, such as "Cause we've ended as Lovers," and "She's a Woman," and don't leave out "Diamond Dust." Jeff is on top of his game and lets you know it in no uncertain terms.

I think this would be a good addition to any guitar lover's collection. It gets 4 stars hands down!
