4 stars Wow, what a straaaaange band. It seems to be a cross between metal, horror movie soundtrack, and goth rock. Well, the music is very well made, and pretty much always succeeds in conjuring the feelings it aims to- drama, fear, suspense, anger, and all that good stuff. And don't forget Mr. Doctor's vocals- truly a man of a thousand voices, not all of them good, but that's excusable, given the quality of the instrumentation around it and the good vocals. It's truly a journey through a very scary musical world, a world which combines very nice playing, including some very catchy riffs and a sweet violin solo about nine minutes in with a feel of suspenseful creepiness. Very good album by a very unique and interesting band, four stars.
