![]() There is not a dull moment in this album. It's got just enough crazy in it to still be accessible to people who prefer the more melodic side of the RIO/Avant genre. Throughout the album it is clear they were influenced by Zappa and The Residents, and quite possibly Mike Oldfield? There are quite a few moments in this album which are similar in feel to Mike Oldfield's Amarok (Another great melodic RIO album), which came out 6 years prior to this. It's long, and that might put you off, but just set aside 20 minutes to listen to the title track and see if it's for you. The quality throughout the album is consistent (though the recording quality is lacking at times).
