3 stars Three of a Perfect Pair beats Beat in every way. This is an inspiring album with absolutely great tunes on side one and an industrial journey on side two. Side two is the most experimental side of all the records of their 80's era. I love it.

Three of a Perfect Pair - I love this track. This is catchy, this is crafty, this is musicianship, this is ridiculously good. A great start for this album. 9/10

Model Man - As straightforward as KC can be. A bit too much AOR to me. A weaker track, but it still has some punch. 7/10

Sleepless - Levin's bass saves the song. The track in itself is rather uninteresting. 7/10

Man with an Open Heart - This is the weakest track of the album. I don't know why they put it on the album, to be frank. 4/10

Nuages - Here the album starts to get interesting. Great keys, awesome Frippertronics. 9/10

Industry - This is a brilliant instrumental. Very Industrial, mechanical. Dark, sombre, mesmerizing, skillfully played, fascinating. 10/10

Dig Me - The experimentation can't hide the fact the song is quite weak. 6/10

No Warning - Sets us up for LTIA part 3. Great drumming from Bruford. 7/10

Larks' Tongues In Aspic, Pt. 3 - A great closing track of a surprisingly fantastic album. A solid third instalment of Larks. 9.5/10

The highs of this album are very The title track, Nuahes, Industry and LTIA part 3. Sadly, the album also has some lowlights. These are so awful, I have no other option than to give this nice album a 3-star rating. It is good, but not essential for prog musicians. It IS essential for KC fans though.
