Wow,what a mixed bag of reviews,Asia's debut album gets,but is it good?. No its not good at all, its brillant and when it was released it was pure class,what else could it be i mean these guys came from, Yes ,Crimson ,ELP,and Buggles what the hell!,Buggles plastic . But think for a second ,as a debut is this recording better than all the debut recordings brought out by the before mentioned acts ,well absolutley yer, maybe.ELP'S,debut is a masterpiece,YES well yes it is simple, Buggles um , and finally King Crimsons (MassivelyOverated),In The Court Of The Crimsom King,you bet ya what an old sounding bore of a thing that is.Every track of Asia's debut is strong and seems to flow well ,a perfect combination of rock and pop very rare,every song is very well structured and it does'nt sound dated at all after all these years.Asia also nearly won a grammy as best new band for this effort something to think about.Its not prog rock at all ,but so what who cares its just one masterfull recording of talent hitting their strapps at full force playing well crafted pop rock of the highest order.
