3 stars And so begins the story of the Warrior of ice and the emerald sword, with this album of 1997 of the Italian band Rhapsody, now (rhapsody of fire) and that's due to legal problems. But I will talk about the music of this awesome debut album, that is the approach. the gender of Rhapsody of fire could be described as symphonic metal with elements of progressive rock obviously, if you can't see you must be blind. The Music in Legendary Tales evokes such power from classic metal to the sweetest symphony in each piece, what marks this band is the symphony background music, which makes parts more richer in composition and more rich to the listener of the abum. Importantly : the influence on the music of this album transcend from the medieval style, nordic, epic and Celtic, and classical, giving an atmosphere of fantasy and imagination, fine melodies with choruses with high hopes, passionate, whimsical, dramatic, and really I appreciate the great voice of Italian Fabio Lione, who also works for some division divine band albums, another great Italian power metal band, where members of labirynth are present.

Mention to the genius of the band, Luca Turilli, where he created the story of the warrior of ice, and their influence is practically vivaldi, giving the band a classic style and dramatic, to be the debut of this magnificent band, I mean have created music that has been really innovative with the elements that have been proposed, it hurts me that future albums would not maintain this incredible creativity, great choruses, sometimes sticky, short songs with operatic itermedio,Staropoli give us the chance to think in castles, dragons, beasts and passion with the keyboard. and importat part in this album are the amazing solos of guitar and keyboards, Luca Turilli e mention that one of his great influences on the electric guitar was the great virtuoso guitar player Jason Becker, and can be seen in several times on the technique called sweep picking, which makes it more baroque style of music. great solo in the piece called, Rage of the winter, as of 4:23 we can see the progressive influence in many parts of the song, from an epic piano sound with a beautiful flute.

in conclusion, this band's debut could not have been better with this album called Legendary Tales, 1997, beginning a new adventure, and giving the band a great promise in music, talking about progressive terms, I think that in this album you can see it in many pieces as in the beginning of Lord of the thunder, great. rhapsody with this album gives us an idea of what can be throughout the years, I found out recently that are about to get his new album, well, I'm looking forward to it.
