TODD RUNDGREN'S UTOPIA

Totally awesome! It´s truly outstanding how Rundgren could collect almost unknown musicians to perform this tremendous piece of prog rock music. His work is most well known as a fine AOR oriented composer... But this album really surprises any kind of prog rock fan that is not aware of Prog rock incursions of Mr. Todd. I have to admit that this is really one of the best Prog rock albums of all time. Unfortunately this complex bunch of extremely gifted musicians were not retained by the chamaleonic guitar axeman. Utopia´s work is unstable, there were some gems, and some not well rated material.. But this one is a must have to almost any Prog rock fan, the IKON is a masterpiece, food for your thought!
