5 stars An album that's definitely one of their most inaccessible efforts. At the same time, it's classic Dream Theater. It should be worth saying that this would be the last Dream Theater album with the classic Line-Up.

After Images And Words, which gave the band some serious recognition in the prog scene, the band followed up with a more-or-less similar album with similar mixing, but to give it a twist, they made it much more evil-sounding and heavier.

This is the only Dream Theater album where James LaBrie does harsh vocals, and it's in my opinion his best vocal work to date. This is for sure one of my favorite Dream Theater albums, and it's definitely worth checking. Essential.
