3 stars Yet another purely acoustic album by Coryell joined by Beck and/or Scofield. Playing is good, more colourful when done in a larger setup than one player alone. Themes are classical, world music (flamenco) or acoustic music without any further affiliation. Standaouts include "Zimbabwe" because of its rich sound (sounds like 3 guitars playing) and dynamic soloing, the reflective and slow "Thurman Munson", the reedition of classically inspired "April Seventh" on a solo guitar. Bonus tracks fit well but add little to the value.

Most tracks though are not distinguishable for most listeners other than acoustic guitar aficionados. So not recommended to fans of Coryell fusion-related music.
